Year 1 Evaluation of Family Connects NJ

The Cooperative's Family Connects NJ is delighted to share exciting news: New Jersey’s universal home visiting program, Family Connects NJ, is expanding! Nurse home visits start January 20, 2026 in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May and Salem Counties. This expansion means Family Connects NJ is now available in all seven South Jersey counties —and eventually, all 21 counties statewide.

Johns Hopkins University and the New Jersey Department of Children and Families conducted an evaluation to learn about the Family Connects NJ implementation in its first year (January 2024-January 2025). A summary of key findings is now available and the report features images of Cooperative nurse supervisor Rochelle on pages 2 and 7.
