2nd Annual Cooperative Cares Week
The Cooperative makes a BIG impact in the community every day.
But we always go the extra mile—and our passion to serve was on full display for everyone to appreciate during our Second Annual Cooperative Cares Week.
Our colleagues rolled up their sleeves and volunteered in the communities where we live and work, as we strive to make South Jersey a better place for our neighbors.
Here's a snapshot of what our team did during Cooperative Cares Week 2026:
*Participated in a community clean up in Absecon in collaboration with ACUA - Atlantic County Utilities Authority
*Joined a community clean up in Camden in partnership with City of Camden Government
*Collected nearly 15 bags and boxes full of nonperishable food items at our annual all-staff meeting at Washington Lake Park in Sewell. The items will be stored in our offices for an upcoming Cooperative family-friendly service activity to pack Thanksgiving bags for Cooperative clients!
We wish to thank all our colleagues for their sense of duty to our communities. In a special way, we extend gratitude to our Family Connects NJ Program Support Specialist Natali Pita for connecting us to Sonrisas Sin Fronteras NJ, which donated 6 full boxes of food. You can support Cooperative Cares anytime.
The Cooperative Cares Committee coordinates and promotes a range of activities, including service projects, in-kind collections and fundraising efforts and seeks to expand opportunities for community donors and volunteers to engage with The Cooperative and support our mission.
