Healthy Women, Healthy Families
Healthy Women, Healthy Families works to improve the health of pregnant individuals and babies across New Jersey. It focuses special attention on reducing infant deaths in cities with high rates of Black infant mortality. In New Jersey, Black babies are three times more likely than White babies to die before their first birthday. Black individuals are dying at significantly higher rates than White individuals due to pregnancy-related complications. The need is great and Healthy Women, Healthy Families offers the types of services to move us forward.
