The Epidemiology Laboratory Capacity Southern NJ COVID Response Program, aims to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations throughout southern New Jersey. Through partnerships with community stakeholders, the Southern NJ COVID Response Program increases awareness of factual information about COVID-19 to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health. Through collaboration and coordination with area providers, the program expands access to and utilization of testing and vaccinations throughout the region.
The Southern NJ COVID Response Program addresses four priority areas:
-
Developing contact tracers and increasing contact tracing efforts
-
Using technology to monitor efforts with vulnerable populations
-
Implementing prevention strategies with vulnerable/diverse populations
-
Establishing alternative testing sites for COVID-19
